My name is Bart Stornebrink, pleased to meet you. It’s great that you’ve dropped by to take a look at my world of photography. Let me briefly introduce myself. I was born in Hilversum, The Netherlands on March 18, 1959, and I am the father of Nina and Milan.
Throughout my life, I have always photographed people, culture, and nature. My personal motto is: "discover something new every day." In my professional work, I have always used the power of photography strategically. A single image truly speaks louder than a thousand words. A photograph should tell a story, provoke thought, convey a message, but above all, it should touch you in the heart. It needs to resonate with me first, and hopefully, with others as well. I make it a habit to thoroughly immerse myself in my subject; simply snapping away aimlessly rarely yields much of value. The goal is to hit the mark, to capture the essence. And yet, I never lose sight of what is most important: enjoying the moment, even if that moment lasts only as long as a fraction of a shutter speed.

In 2026, I emigrated to Sweden, marking the beginning of an entirely new chapter in my photography. You won’t find me on social media, but you are more than welcome here. And who knows, perhaps we’ll cross paths in the real world, likely somewhere amidst the beautiful Swedish landscape.
